Genesee Valley Aero Modelers

Up

The annual Frozen Finger Fun Fly was held on January 1st at 10am. We had a total of 10 members show up at the appointed time and got seven airplanes into the air. The temperature was about 18 degrees with a pretty stiff wind making the wind chill probably below zero. We still managed to get all the planes down in one piece. Eric and I both had the experience of flying into a small snow squall and seeing the plane begin to disappear.  Fortunately it was small and didn't completely hide the planes. We flew for about 45 minutes and then adjourned to the restaurant for coffee and warmth. I expect more photos in the next few days, but these will give you an idea what the day was like.
